» Ecological Designer/Environmental Scientist/Engineer

Seeking a general Ecological Designer / Environmental Scientist / Engineer to join our ecological consulting firm’s NYC office.

Job description:

Great Ecology and Environments, Inc. is looking for an extremely versatile team player able to perform a wide variety of tasks that may include any of the following:

-Ecological and landscape design;
-Graphics production
-CAD production;
-Project management;
-Biological surveys and other field work; and
-Proposal/Report writing.

About you:

We are seeking applicants with the following background:

-A Bachelors or Masters degree in landscape architecture, biology, ecology, or natural resources or design-related field.
-4-10+ years work experience; and
-Excellent graphics, writing, and people skills.

We would like it if you also had the following:

-Experience in wetland restoration, urban habitat restoration, and stormwater management;
-Ability to communicate well and speak in public;
-Experience working in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or California; and
-Independent, motivated temperament.
